1. It can be selected according to the size of the water surface and the scale of fish farming in the pond. Its productivity is based on the premise that it can meet the total amount of feed needed in the whole year, and the demand of feeding peak period and monthly demand are considered.
2. The power of pellet feeder is selected according to the feeding quantity. Generally, for 0.33-0.66 hectare (5-10 mu) fishpond, the daily feeding capacity is about 120 kg, and pellet feeders with a power of about 2.2 kW can be purchased; for 0.66-3.3 hectare fishpond, the daily feeding capacity is about 120-160 kg, and pellet feeders with a power of 5.5 kW can be purchased; for 3.3-6.6 hectare fishpond, the daily feeding capacity is about 600-1200 kg, and pellet feeders with a power of 11-15 kW can be purchased 。
3. According to the production rate per kilowatt hour. After the productivity is determined, the electricity productivity per kilowatt hour is a very important economic index. The productivity per kilowatt hour is large, the feed processing cost is low, and the economic benefit is high.
4. According to the production characteristics of the feed machine. The moisture content of soft granule processed feed is as high as 20% - 30%. It is not suitable for storage. It is easy to dissolve after entering water. The temperature of granulation is 43-45 ℃, which is suitable for adding anti fish disease drugs and does not damage vitamins. The processing cost is low. The disadvantage is low productivity, easy to wear, the number of promotion is not too large at present.
5. The hard pellet machine processed pellet feed has small volume, convenient storage and transportation, no loss of nutrients, high productivity and good quality of processed pellets. There are two types of hard granulator, i.e. ring mode and flat mode. The flat model feed granulator has complex structure and high maintenance technical requirements, which is only suitable for large-scale feed processing plants; the flat model granulator has simple structure and convenient maintenance, which is suitable for small and medium-sized feed processing plants. At present, the number of domestic promotion is the largest flat model granulator.
6. According to the scale of cultivation, select the specifications of feed granulator. For ponds with large scale and large proportion of bottom layer fish, the feed granulator for sunken fish can be selected. The small-scale multi-functional pellet feeders and various moulds can be used in the ponds for cultivating fry to obtain different specifications of feeds.
