No matter the new machine or the old machine, after a period of use, many problems will be found. The following is a summary of several problems and solutions that users often encounter in the process of using the small feed pellet machine/feed granulator machine.
1. The output of feed granulator is low, sometimes it can not produce grains.
Cause: the first use of flat die die hole finish is poor. The water content of the material is too high or too low; the gap between the press roll and the flat die is too large; the press roll or the flat die is severely worn;
Solution: grind and lubricate with oil, increase the output after working for a period of time; adjust the moisture content of materials; adjust the compression bolt; replace the triangle belt
2. Too much granulated powder processed by feed granulator
Causes: low water content; excessive wear and small thickness of flat die.
Solution: increase water content; replace new flat die.
3. Rough and unsmooth surface of pressed granular feed
Cause: high moisture content; first use of flat die.
Solution: reduce water content; first use of flat die. Grind repeatedly with oil.
Cause: hard sundries fall into the pelletizing chamber; or the bearing is damaged, replace the bearing;
Solution: shut down machine to remove foreign matters; fasten parts.
5. The small feed granulator stops working suddenly
Cause: the load is too large (even the fuse is blown); foreign matters enter the cavity.
Solution: properly increase the gap between the press roll and the flat die to replace the fuse; stop the machine to remove foreign matters.
6. The particle surface is not smooth and there are many powders
Solution: it may be that the flat die compression is small, and the compression hole should be adjusted properly.
7. The particle surface is smooth, but the hardness is too high
Solution: adjust the compression ratio of flat die properly and reduce the compression ratio of flat die.
